Black People Don’t
Hang Themselves
A campaign by Song Sow Gardens demanding truth, accountability, and justice.
The Truth Must Be Told
There have been numerous reports of Black people found hanging from trees across the United States — cases that were quickly ruled as suicides and largely ignored by mainstream news outlets. These incidents demand investigation, not silence.
Song Sow Gardens has obtained exclusive video footage of a man found hanging in Raleigh, North Carolina. After making a donation, supporters will receive a copy of the video so they can see the evidence for themselves.
